Room and furniture!

The last time that I posted I talked about my room and about all the work that was being done to it. Well of late My husband has wired the outlets and wired for the lights. I think I may know now how some of the people from the pioneer times felt... well ok that is probably not completely true because I haven't been completely out of light but If I wanted light in my room we had to use extension cords and move the lamps around yuck! I am so happy to have light and plug-ins!:) Mike also worked on the closet some, he put in lights and sheet rock and then we plastered,sanded and painted the closet.Anyways we are still not all the way done with the room but little by little we make progress. Changing the room to actually feel more roomy like.  Mike and I went to the Ashley's furniture home and found a love seat and a three person sofa. we have been saving and have been wanting something more nice and well...... we bought it! They actually fit more people on them than you would think. one sits 4-5 people and the other 2-3 people.

A Working Progress

 Mike and the older kids have been working really hard this week to get the sheet rock up so we good plaster and paint. So today we sanded the plaster. After that we painted the room a pink/tanish white color. The kids had so much fun with the first coat but when I told them we had a second coat to do they weren't very excited but they put on a happy face and helped me finish painting.The room is still not done, we still

want to add some kind of cherry stained trim to match our bed frame and dressers. I think it will look very nice once that is done. I am glad we could get this paint done. I feel like we are making progress in our room:) I can't wait until the rest of the room is finished, but for now this is all that is done and until more work is done these pictures will have to do.

sUmMeR!

The kids are out for Summer Break. Yikes! No I am kidding... of course all those who are parents  know that when the kids come home for the summer, in order to be a good parent you have to keep them busy by ALLOWING them to do lots of work! So if I am going to be a good parent I too must put them to work! Maha ha ha (Hint the Evil laugh):) No I am not so cruel:)
Of course we will do work this summer, but I have a few more ideas up my Sleeve than just work.
We don't have any major plans, but we will be doing normal summer activities. Go swimming, Camping,Do some visiting and possible go to Silverwood... a Theme park.

Mom ,Grandma's 80th Birthday:)

It was a nice get away. Very relaxing, we mostly just visited and we were content with that. Just the Adults were there the kids that came were booted over to Mike and Mondai's house. We didn't have to worry about feeding or keeping kids occupied while we visited. Mom ,Grandma wanted things planted for her birthday. So we made planter Boxes and filled them with the things she wanted Planted i thought it turned out good. Sunday we went over to the Community College to take pictures. Here are just a few.. we are still waiting to receive the rest of them. SO ENJOY! 

Our Missionaries

My son Elder Tyrell Farley is out on his mission  He is in Johannesburg South Africa. He will be back on December 2nd. We are very excited. I have another son, Cheston, who just got his mission call to go to the Brazil  Belo Horizonte Mission. He will be reporting to the MTC on January 12. We are also very excited for him.

  

Halloween!

 This Halloween Achsah was Blue Berries, Dana was a pumpkin princess girl,Morgan was a zombie, Makenna was a mime--kind of like a clown, Muhvaughny was a Ninja, Codi was Robin Hood, Napua was a bumble bee, and Leilani was a monkey! Tressie, Cheston, and Kordell didn't dress up for Halloween this year! This year's ward party was different than any other ward party we have had. This year we had a chili cook off, a costume and a pumpkin contest, and to top it off we had a trunk or treat thing for the kids. While at the ward party we were able to see Megan Redlin, an old friend we have. She is the closest to Tressie! Anyway it was good to see her! This year we got one Trick or Treat group. We were all excited! Well i guess that is it for now!
